Do you like cricket? If yes, then this is for you…
The senior team got to go to the White Ferns vs England cricket game!
Earlier on in the week Katie Perkins and Georgia Guy (two players from New Zealand cricket team) came out to our school. They talked about cricket and played a big game of cricket with the senior team.
The senior team hopped on buses and went to Cobham Oval and set up on the bank. It was a hot sunny day, we needed our hats, water bottles and big lunches.
New Zealand batted first and got only 60 runs and all out. We were watching the cricket but also doing bar charts, sketches and commentating.
England batted second and caught New Zealand easily and won the game.
Luckily they did better the next day.
