Clap clap clap! At Onerahi Primary School awards are presented every Friday at assembly so students and teachers can celebrate what a student has achieved in their learning. Teachers also give the awards because the students have shown the use of the Onerahi Beacons.
A Beacon student is someone that is a leader and role model to others, that can guide others in making good choices. Making good choices is a strong focus at Onerahi School.
Teachers also present the awards to make all students proud of what that student has done and to encourage students to be a successful learner at school and through life.
Teachers and students enjoy presenting and receiving merit awards at Onerahi Primary School.
