There are new leaders for E.E!!!
E.E. is lead by 19 responsible seniors from Room 1 to Room 4. There are all different types of activities like worms, forest, bees, marketing and the garden.
Noah, Calem and Calum go around the school collecting apple cores and pear cores with little kids to feed the worms. The E.E.leaders are also in charge of the forest trail, the butterfly garden and the bush area. The bees group collects the honey from the hives.
Marketing is one of the important jobs because it is about setting up the things to sell in the market stall and telling people about what we are doing in E.E.
Finally, the leaders organise other kids to look after all the veges in the gardens. The people are Nellie, Paige, Merina, Jade, Ryan, Joel, Mahoney, Tayea, Rebecca, Lilly, Mertia, Xaira, Shazey, Mr Dennis and Mrs Hale, Mrs Green and Mrs Arkwright.
This is the first time ever that the kids have run the E.E. They are doing this because they like to work in the environment and sharing learning with others. They meet on Monday and Fridays lunchtimes in Room Ten.
Room 1 student Noah says ” E.E. is an amazing opportunity to help the environment.”
