Our Board

The Onerahi School Board is an elected board made up of parent representatives chosen by the parents, an elected staff representative chosen by staff, and the Principal that governs the school. The Board has 4 primary objectives –

• Every student at the school is able to attain their highest possible standard in educational achievement.
• The school is a physically and emotionally safe place for all students and staff, gives effect to relevant student human rights, and takes all reasonable steps to eliminate discrimination.
• The school is inclusive of, and caters for, students with differing needs.
• The school gives effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
