All enrolments can be made at the main office. It is advised that parents bring a copy of their child's most recent report and birth certificate. If you wish to meet with staff to discuss the enrolment, or look around the school, it is advisable to make an appointment.
We encourage new entrants to enrol at least 6 weeks before their fifth birthday. It is requested that each child's birth certificate and immunisation be sighted before he/she commences school. Arrangements will be made for the child to make 3 familiarisation visits to the classroom before commencing school full time.
NEW ENTRANTS:
Initially all new entrant pupils are released at 2 pm. As the new pupils become accustomed to the school routine they are, as individuals, introduced to the full day. Each case is taken on its own merit. Usually after two weeks the child is ready to stay until 3 pm.
The assistant principal or new entrant class teacher will advise parents of any adjustments to the time of release for new entrant children.
It is important that children finishing at 2 pm are collected by an adult and taken home.
